Protection without the
PestFence® is a smart pest-exclusion ecosystem designed to create protective zones around entire properties, people, pets, and the places pests gather most.

- Perimeter nodes
- Diversion
- Control layer
The architecture
One system.
Multiple layers of protection.
Pest problems do not stop at the edge of a patio — and protection should not stop there either. PestFence® combines distributed outdoor devices, intelligent controls and portable extensions so protection can follow the way people actually live, work and spend time outside.
Property protection
Create a smart, expandable perimeter around a home, business, farm, campground, event space or other outdoor property.
Personal protection
Extend the PestFence® concept beyond the yard with wearable formats designed for adults, children and active outdoor use.
Pet protection
Use dedicated pet-oriented hardware and product profiles to help protect animals beyond the fixed property boundary.
PestFence® Perimeter™
Target high-pressure hot spots around slushy machines, beverage counters, food stands, patios, waste areas and other concentrated attraction sources.
The primary promise
A smarter way to create a pest-resistant space — around your property, around your family, and around the places pests gather most.
Layer 01 — the flagship system
Turn your property into a protected zone.
The original PestFence® architecture is a modular property-wide network. Solar-powered perimeter vapor units help establish the outer protection zone. CO₂ attraction and trap posts sit outside that zone to draw selected flying insects away from people. A Smart Hub coordinates operation using weather, wind and system data.

The documented architecture was developed around an approximately one-acre kit concept, with additional nodes extending coverage for larger or irregular properties. Because the network is modular, a system can be reshaped around a pool, a patio, a barn row or a campsite loop rather than forced into a circle.
Actual field coverage will depend on layout, wind, vegetation, pest pressure and the selected operating profile.
PestFence® Vapor Units
Solar-powered, weather-resistant perimeter nodes with controlled airflow and refillable or replaceable pest-deterrent media.
CO₂ Trap Posts
Attraction and capture devices placed outside the protected zone, designed to pull selected flying pests away from occupants.
PestFence® Smart Hub
The control center for communications, schedules, environmental data, operating status and future adaptive automation.
PestFence® App
A visual control layer for system status, zones, maintenance alerts and historical activity.
Coverage figures describe a design target for a pre-production architecture, not measured field results. Node counts, spacing and operating profiles are expected to change as prototype testing progresses.

How it works
Pest control becomes pest exclusion.
Instead of depending on one tactic, PestFence® combines deterrence, diversion, sensing and intelligent control to make protected spaces less attractive and harder for target pests to enter or remain in.
Deter
Perimeter vapor units create controlled airborne pest-deterrent zones around the protected area.
Divert
CO₂-based trap posts positioned beyond the protected zone can attract selected flying pests away from people and toward capture or elimination devices.
Adapt
The Smart Hub can adjust schedules and output in response to wind, weather and operating conditions.
Extend
Wearables, pet modules and localized Perimeter™ devices extend protection beyond the main property network.

Why a network matters
A single outdoor device has to fight wind, changing temperatures and a large open environment on its own. PestFence® distributes the job across multiple nodes, allowing protection to be shaped around the actual property rather than assuming one device can cover everything.
That is also why environmental sensing sits at the center of the design. Wind direction and speed, temperature, humidity, schedules and device status can all inform when — and where — output is called for. Extreme wind can reduce the effectiveness of any airborne deterrent, and the architecture is designed to respond to conditions rather than ignore them.

Layers 02 & 03 — people and animals
Your protection zone should not end at the driveway.
PestFence® Wearables extend the platform into portable personal-protection formats for outdoor activity, travel, work and recreation. Each format is designed to deter targeted pests in a localized zone around the wearer.

Clip-on module
Attaches to clothing, a backpack, a belt or another suitable location.
Wrist format
A compact wearable configuration for convenient everyday use.
Footwear / sneaker clip
A lower-body placement concept, intended to put localized deterrence closer to ticks and low-flying pests.
Child-oriented format
A simplified form factor and controlled-use profile designed around family use and parental oversight.
Wearable formats are design concepts, not released products. They are described throughout as designed to deter targeted pests — the only claim made for them here. No health outcome is claimed for any PestFence® wearable, and none will be claimed without the substantiation and regulatory authorization required for the specific marketed product.
Live outside without rearranging your life around insects
The reason to build a platform rather than a product is that the same evening moves through several environments. A patio at seven, a walk at eight, a dog let out at ten. Protection that only exists inside one boundary quietly hands the rest of the evening back to the pests.
So the wearable and pet layers are not accessories bolted onto a yard device — they are the portable half of the same architecture, able to use application-specific cartridges and operating profiles appropriate to where and how they are worn.
A PestFence® zone for the animals that share your life
PestFence® Pet concepts extend portable protection to dogs and other compatible use cases through dedicated hardware, pet-specific operating profiles and appropriately selected formulations.
The documented concept uses a chew-resistant, collar-mounted or collar-adjacent module rather than treating the animal as simply another human wearable. The pet product family is intended to stay physically and chemically distinct wherever safety requirements call for different materials or formulation choices.

Layer 04 — the commercial branch
Protect the places pests target most.
PestFence® Perimeter™ is a compact localized pest-exclusion platform being developed for concentrated attraction zones — where sugar, food, moisture, waste, odors or customer traffic create persistent pest pressure.
The hornet-at-the-slushy-machine problem
A convenience store may have excellent general pest control and still struggle with hornets around a frozen-drink machine.
A food stand may be spotless and still attract yellowjackets to sugar, fruit or trash. Hornets and yellowjackets do not need an entire property to become a problem — a single sugar-rich beverage station can become the highest-pressure pest zone on the whole site.
PestFence® Perimeter™ focuses controlled output around that localized source instead of treating the entire business as though the problem were everywhere. It is being engineered as a compact, rechargeable, directionally controlled unit that can create a localized exclusion zone without requiring a whole-property installation.
Request a commercial pilotDirectional protection
Perimeter™ is designed around controlled airflow and directional outlets, so the protected region can be shaped around an attraction source rather than sprayed across a room. Future versions may use smart cartridges, wind sensing, pest sensing, adaptive louvers and multiple coordinated units to create curtains, rings, corridors or overlapping localized zones.
Three engineering paths under evaluation
Development pathwaysThree delivery architectures are being carried in parallel through prototype testing. None of them is a selected, finished product — the production architecture will not be chosen until prototype testing is complete.
Level A
Forced vapor
Ambient air is actively moved through a formulation-loaded cartridge and directed through multiple outlets. Lowest complexity and longest expected runtime.
Level B
Heated volatilization
Controlled low-temperature heating increases vapor output while retaining a vapor-based, non-spray architecture.
Level C
Micro-nebulized dispersion
A higher-output atomized delivery path intended to test maximum plume reach, with additional deposition and food-area considerations.
Levels A, B and C are development pathways under active evaluation, not a released product line and not a selected architecture. Output behavior, runtime, plume reach and deposition characteristics are engineering targets being tested, and are expected to change before any production configuration is defined.

Technology · App & Smart Hub
The fence is virtual. The system behind it is very real.
PestFence® combines controlled delivery, airflow management, environmental sensing, distributed communications and software control to create configurable pest-exclusion zones.
Adaptive airflow
Fan and blower control with directional outlets, shaping how deterrent material is transported into a target zone.
Environmental sensing
Wind, temperature and humidity data can inform output and scheduling.
Pest activity sensing
Future optical, acoustic, camera, radar or other sensing can provide feedback on pest pressure and system effectiveness.
Mesh communications
Wi-Fi, LoRa and other links can coordinate distributed property nodes and expansion areas.
Smart cartridges
Future cartridge identification can associate pest targets, service life, operating limits and formulation profiles with the hardware.

Applications
One platform. Very different environments.
The same modular architecture has to behave differently on a half-acre backyard, across a campground loop and around a single beverage counter. That is the argument for a network rather than a device.

Farms & barns
Outdoor work zones, animal areas and structures with recurring pest pressure.
Campgrounds & recreation
Distributed coverage for cabins, campsites, communal spaces and activity zones.
Hospitality
Resorts, patios, outdoor dining, event areas and guest-facing spaces.
Schools & camps
Outdoor activity spaces where broad chemical spraying may be undesirable.
Commercial sites
Employee areas, customer spaces, loading zones and targeted attraction points.
Public sector
Future municipal, park and relief applications, subject to regulatory review and field validation.

Documented target pests
- Mosquitoes
- Hornets
- Yellowjackets
- Wasps
- Ticks
- Gnats
- Flies
The documented architecture addresses flying and crawling insects through vapor deterrence and CO₂ attraction posts. Coverage, target selection and effectiveness for any specific pest depend on the final product configuration and remain subject to prototype and field validation.
Safety & formulations
Engineer the delivery. Control the exposure. Verify the claims.
PestFence® was conceived around controlled-delivery formulations and reduced reliance on broad indiscriminate spraying. Different applications may require different cartridge chemistries, release rates and safety constraints.

Our public statement
Designed around controlled delivery and application-specific formulation profiles. Final production formulations and labeling will be validated for their intended use before commercialization.
That sentence is the whole safety position, and it is deliberately the only one. Production formulations, hardware and labels must be validated for their intended users and environment. PestFence® includes child- and pet-oriented concepts, and public safety statements about them will follow final testing and regulatory review — not precede it.
Pest claims only
Every PestFence® product on this site is described as designed to deter targeted pests. We make no health outcome claims of any kind, and none will be added without the substantiation and regulatory authorization required for the specific marketed product.
No blanket safety or regulatory claims
We make no universal safety claim for children, pets, food areas or pollinators, and we assert no regulatory exemption status. Safety language belongs on a validated, product-specific label — after final ingredient review, labeling analysis, field-use directions and regulatory verification.
No food-contact implication
PestFence® Perimeter™ is designed to act on the air around a concentrated attraction source. It is not designed or intended for application to food, food-contact surfaces or beverages.
Development status stated plainly
Hardware, wearables, pet products and Perimeter™ units are pre-production concepts. Where prototypes have not completed validation, the copy says so.
About the platform
We didn't want another bug spray. We wanted a better system.
PestFence® began with a simple premise: outdoor pest protection should be engineered around the space people are trying to enjoy — not around repeatedly coating that space, or the people in it, with the same solution.
That idea grew into a modular platform: smart property protection, portable wearables, pet-oriented extensions and localized commercial exclusion. The goal is to make pest management more targeted, more intelligent and more adaptable to the real environment.
It is also why we resist describing PestFence® as a mosquito gadget. The strongest version of this is the breadth of the platform — a property-scale exclusion system at the center, portable protection for people and pets around it, and PestFence® Perimeter™ solving commercial micro-zones where concentrated attractants create a genuinely different class of problem.
A platform built to be expanded
PestFence® intellectual property is supported by pending provisional applications and spans the architecture below. This site communicates the breadth of that platform deliberately without publishing formulation percentages, proprietary control thresholds, detailed firmware logic or other confidential know-how.
- Modular property-scale pest exclusion
- Controlled volatile / vapor delivery
- Distributed nodes and environmental response
- Localized exclusion zones
- Portable and wearable extensions
- Application-specific system configurations
